Welcome Back

Term 4, 2026

Welcome back to Term 4! We hope all of our Grade 1 and 2 families had a wonderful and restful holiday break. It has been fantastic to see the students return to school with such enthusiasm. They have settled back into classroom routines beautifully and are ready for another exciting  final term of learning, fun and new experiences.

Term 4 is always a busy and exciting time of the year, with lots of special events for our students and school community to look forward to. Some of the highlights this term include Spanish Fiesta Day, our School Art Show and Festive Concert and the celebration of Sunshine Heights Primary School’s 70th birthday! These events provide wonderful opportunities for our students to showcase their learning, celebrate their creativity and come together as a school community.

As the weather continues to warm up, please remember that students need to wear their SunSmart hats when playing outside. Hats are an important part of keeping everyone safe in the sun, so please ensure your child brings their hat to school each day.

As always, we greatly appreciate the strong partnership between home and school. Thank you for your continued support throughout the year. We look forward to working together during Term 4 to ensure every student has a happy, successful and rewarding final term of learning as we celebrate all they have achieved in Grade 1 and 2.

Kind regards,

Brigid, Leanne Vella, Tash Vargas, Sonia Papadopoulos, Rose Krajacic, Cinnamon Melling & Michelle Metcalf
