CEC

Well done and thank you to the whole community on the outstanding efforts for our major fundraiser! We have raised $32, 361 so far. The students are very excited about all of the new playground additions and upgrades we have achieved together so far. The next milestone we have achieved will pay for new cubbies.
As we have now raised over $30,000, we will be having a very special movie day later this term. Students will be able to wear free dress, bring along an optional cushion or beanbag and enjoy a movie and popcorn in the gym, on a giant screen!
A reminder that student sponsorships can be collected via: https://banyule-primary-school.grassrootz.com/bps-colour-run-2026. It would be great if you could please share your child's unique fundraising page, if you haven't already!
We will be sending home more information about the Colour Run tomorrow. In the meantime, here is some key information:
- The Colour Run will be held on Tuesday 10th November
- We would love for parents/carers etc to come along on the day to encourage the students. They will be running the course (starting on the oval) at the following times:
- Year 5/6- 11:30am-12pm
- Years 3/4- 12pm-12:30pm
- Years 1/2- 12:30pm-1pm
- Preps- 1-1:30pm
- We will also be having a Cheer Toastie truck making toasties on the day (Plant based, non- diary and gluten free options will be available). Students will pre order their toasties (more information coming soon!) and any spectators on the day, will be able to purchase toasties directly from the truck!
- At 2:30pm, we will be having a whole school assembly under the big shelter for sliming fun! Parents/carers etc are welcome to attend.
- Your child is encouraged to wear old clothes on the day and a white t-shirt. Rainbow sunglasses will be provided.
