District Cross Country

Two weeks ago, our Year 3–6 students proudly represented St Carlos at the District Cross Country Carnival held in Merryfield. Students demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, determination and team spirit throughout the day.

We are thrilled to announce that, out of the nine schools competing, St Carlos achieved the highest overall points score. Our students should be commended for their exceptional efforts and achievements, with several students progressing to the next stage at the Division Cross Country Carnival.

Congratulations to all students involved on a fantastic result we are very proud of you all. Go St Carlos!

Interschool Sports Review 

On the 22nd of May, some of our Year 6 students participated in the Winter Interschool Sports Round 1 at Roxborough Rise Primary School. We all had heaps of fun competing, no matter the result. Four of the six teams representing St Carlo’s came away with a win, giving them a better chance of making it to the finals.

We all arrived feeling nervous but excited, although the excitement quickly took over as the day began. Both netball teams were victorious, as well as both football teams.

Unfortunately, both soccer teams lost, but they put up an amazing fight and showed great teamwork and determination throughout the day.
