Athletics Carnival

Athletics Carnival was a fantastic success, with students displaying outstanding enthusiasm, participation and sportsmanship throughout the day. 

Despite the windy conditions, the atmosphere remained positive and energetic from start to finish.

It was wonderful to see so many students getting involved across all events, whether competing on the track, participating in field events, or cheering on their peers. The level of encouragement and house spirit shown throughout the carnival helped create a vibrant and supportive environment for everyone involved.

A special thank you goes to staff and student helpers who assisted in making the day run so smoothly. 

Congratulations to all houses on their efforts and participation. Final results were:

🏆 1st Place – Barak: 535 points

🥈 2nd Place – Watts: 452 points

🥉 3rd Place – Lang: 437 points

4️⃣ 4th Place – Pyke: 287 points

Barak delivered a dominating performance across the carnival and should be extremely proud of their achievement.

Overall, the day was a wonderful celebration of teamwork, resilience, house pride and participation, and we look forward to another fantastic carnival next year.

Finally, congratulations to the staff team for taking out the staff vs student relay,  proving that we’re still the ones to beat! The students may have youth on their side, but experience won on the day!
