Toysale - Last Chance to Donate!
Our Grade 6 Toy Sale Fundraiser is on Friday 5 June! Toys will be priced between $1 and $20, and all classes will have the opportunity to attend.
We still require donations of toys—please ensure all items are clean and in good condition (no books, please). Donations can be given to your classroom teacher by Wednesday 3 June. Thank you for your support!
Secondhand Uniform Stall -Friday 29th May
Our Second-hand Uniform Stall will be open this Friday 29th May from 8:30am to 9:15am. Quality pre-loved uniforms available at great prices! Our stock is currently running low, and donations are warmly welcomed. Please drop any items into the school office.
Lost Property Uniform is Overflowing
If your child has lost an item of school uniform, please visit our lost property near the back ramp entrance to the old building. Any unamed items which are not collected by the end of the term will be donated to our second hand uniform stall.
ICAS - YEAR 2 to 6 Registration Now Open
ICAS is a globally recognised academic competition for school students.
TPS is offering assessments to Year 2-6 students in Mathematics, English and Science at a cost of $22 per subject. The tests will fall in school hours between the following dates (exact date TBC) -
- English: 7 Aug – 14 Aug
- Mathematics: 21 Aug – 28 Aug
- Science: 14 Aug – 21 Aug

French Day Crêpe Orders now Open on QKR!
To celebrate French Day on 14 July, we are excited to welcome back the Crêpe Van after its huge success last year! Authentic French treats, including madeleines and galette cookies, will also be available. Prices start from $7. Orders can be placed via QKR and will close on 12 June (due to the school holiday break). Don’t miss out!
Spatzenschule Lantern Festival
Join us for Spatzenschule’s annual family Lantern Festival fundraiser on Thursday, 11th June, 5–7 pm at Toorak Primary School.
Create your own traditional German lantern in our lantern-making workshop and enjoy a magical evening lantern walk with family and friends. This year, we will again have exciting new lantern designs, and all materials are included in the ticket price.
German food and drinks will be available for purchase on the night, with all proceeds supporting our not-for-profit bilingual German program at Toorak Primary School.
Please bring cash for food and drink purchases.

Victorian Interschools Snowsports Championships 2026
Toorak Primary students are encouraged to get involved in this year’s Victorian Interschools Snowsports Championships — a fantastic opportunity for kids of all ages and abilities to represent the school, build confidence, and have a lot of fun on the mountain.
Events include skiing and snowboarding across a range of disciplines and experience levels.

Art Raffle Donations- Can you help?
We are calling for donations of any new or unused art resources for our upcoming Art Raffle. Donations can be dropped off at the school office prior to the end of term.
All proceeds from the raffle will go towards the purchase of a new kiln for our Art Room. Thank you for your support!
Help Raise Funds for a New Kiln!
Next year, students will require their own art smock. Purchase your child's Art smock today on QKR for $20. Orders close Tuesday 1st September (suitable for children aged 5–10 years). Children will decorate their smock with paint pens in a special art class. Funds raised will go towards the purchase of a new kiln.
Paint and Sip Art Sessions
Parents, unleash your inner artist with a Paint and Sip session to help raise money for a new Kiln in the art room.
Dates: 12th June and the 21st of August
• Time: 6:30pm – 8:30pm
• Location : Art room
• Cost : $60 on QKR
Instructing artist: Fiona Tweddle- The HAPPI project.
Session includes:
• a canvas to create on.
• The use of acrylic paint, paint brushes and an easel.
• The serving of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages with nibbles for the first hour.

If you missed out on purchasing your child's school photo, its not too late! Photos can be purchased via Compass.
Grade 6 Friyay! Graduation Fundraiser
Orders can be placed on Qkr for Donuts, Hedgehog, or Caramel Slice, alternating every Friday for $2. Orders close at 4pm each Tuesday. All proceeds raised go towards the Grade 6 Graduation.
Classroom Cuisine Menu Update
Classroom Cuisine deliver healthy, interesting and affordable lunches to our students on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
They have added to their term 2 menu, Pepperoni Pizza ( made with beef pepperoni not pork, and is therefore Halal), Vegetable Pastie with Tomato Sauce, Cheese & Salad Roll and a Mexi Style Wrap with Chicken, Salsa, Cheese, Salad & Corn Chips, Passionfruit Melting Moments from the Red Hill Cookie Co, and Mango Chutney with Vege Chips
Due to their popularity, Hot Cross Buns have been replaced with "Not" Cross Buns, which are the same recipe but without the cross and fresh seasonal Mandarins have also been added to the menu.
