St Simon’s Annual Maths Fun Day - Friday 1st May

We are excited about our annual whole school Maths Day which will be held on Friday 1st May! The Aim of the day is to promote that maths is fun and teamwork. This will be our fourth Maths Fun day and it’s a great day for students to engage in Maths tasks that focus on working together as a team.
The Students and staff come 'Dressed up' in maths related themed costumes. Please let your imaginations run wild! The students will need to wear runners for the day. The parade will start at 9am on the athletics track, families are most welcome to attend.
The students and staff come 'Dressed up' in maths related themed costumes. Some possible suggestions could be patterns, odd numbers (odd clothes), human domino or human calculator or clock. Other ideas could be for your child to come dressed as a famous Mathematician such as Albert Einstein. Please let your imaginations run wild! The students will need to wear runners for the day.
During the day, the students will be engaged in fun ‘Minute to Win it Games’ as well as create some wonderful Maths related art masterpieces. There will be Maths scavenger hunts outside for students in Grade Prep, One and Two.
Also, for the older students The Great Maths Quiz will run once again, where grades battle it out in a team to find the Maths Masters of St Simon’s.
