ACS Swimming Championships

We are proud to congratulate our Year 7-12 ACS Swimming Team on their success at the ACS Swimming Championships this week. Throughout the whole event, our participating students were brilliant, demonstrating a high level of commitment, with many participating across multiple events and maintaining a strong standard of performance.

Our squad finished 4th overall, a fantastic result, however we also had a number of excellent individuals performances throughout the meet.

Huge congratulations to Eve L who also broke the 50m Breastroke record by 0.07 seconds. This is a record that has stood since 2019! Well done Eve!

We also had a number of students finish top 20 in the Athlete of the Meet awards, which is based on overall individual performances. Congratulations to the following athletes on this achievement.

ACS Grand Finals – Senior School Summer

We are thrilled to celebrate an outstanding season of Senior School ACS Sport, highlighted by exceptional performances across a number of teams in their respective Grand Finals.

Leading the way were our Premiership winning teams, showcasing skill, teamwork and consistency throughout the season:

Boys Futsal 1st – crowned premiers after an undefeated season, a remarkable achievement reflecting their dominance across the competition.
Boys Futsal 2nd
Boys Futsal Red 3rd – also undefeated throughout the season, an outstanding effort culminating in a well deserved premiership.
Boys Futsal White 4th
Boys Softball 1st.

In addition to our premiers, we proudly acknowledge our runner-up teams, who completed a fantastic season even though they didn’t come away with the ultimate success.

Girls Volleyball 2nd
Boys Basketball 3rd

These results are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students. To have multiple teams reach Grand Finals and several finishing as undefeated premiers, it is a wonderful achievement for our SS ACS Sport program.

Competitive Uniform

This week has seen the launch of Overnewton’s new Competitive Sportswear Range, designed to support students when representing the College in competitive sport.

We are pleased to be partnering with Uniform Group to deliver this range. Their expertise in performance apparel has enabled the College to develop a high quality, purpose built uniform that supports students across both training and competition.

The Competitive Sportswear Range will be introduced in phases, with the initial rollout applying to selected ACS and Year 5 and 6 sports in Term 2. Once team selections have been finalised, the Sport team will advise families when uniforms can be purchased.

This is an exciting new phase for the College and we look forward to seeing our students in a uniform that reflects both the pride of the College and the performance standards that we continue to build.

Parent Collection from Training and Match Venues

Parents who wish to collect their child directly from a training or match venue must first complete the ACS Sport Student Venue Collection Application via the link below.

Please note that ACS buses do not return to Canowindra campus at the end of training and match days. All buses return to Yirramboi campus.
