Thank You from Mrs Scully! 

I am filled with gratitude and excitement to be stepping into the role of Acting Assistant Principal for the remainder of the 2026 school year. I want to sincerely thank the staff, students, and families for the incredibly warm welcome and kind wishes. 

As many of you know, St Mary’s holds a very special place in my heart, not only as an educator but as a parent within this beautiful, close-knit community. This school has a rich history of faith and learning, and I am excited to support Mrs Burton and our staff as we continue that legacy. In my recent work across the Diocese, I have seen firsthand the power of our ‘Living Well Learning Well’ framework and the impact of data-informed teaching. I am eager to bring these insights home to St Mary’s to ensure every student feels safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.

I look forward to working alongside you all as we strive for a hope-filled future for our children. I look forward to seeing you all soon!

Uniform Reminder & School Photo Day

With the cooler weather settling in, please ensure your child has all the necessary winter uniform items to stay warm and comfortable.  

As a reminder, school photo day is on Monday and to ensure everyone looks their best, please remember that full school uniform is required. Hair must be tied back if it is past shoulder length and no makeup is permitted. Thank you for your cooperation in helping our students look sharp!

Online Safety &  Social Media

As part of our commitment to student wellbeing, we would like to remind families of the current under 16 social media ban in Australia. We encourage all parents to play an active role in their child's digital life by:

• Reviewing your child’s devices and online activity.
• Talking to your children about what they see online and who they interact with.
• Keeping all devices out of bedrooms overnight to ensure better sleep and safety.

For families with older children who may be using social media, TikTok provides a Parental Guide & Factsheet. Thank you for helping us keep our school community safe online.

Mathematics at Home

We’ve created a series of posters to help you support your child’s Mathematics journey at home! From Kindergarten measurement to Year 6 data, these posters offer quick, fun, and easy ways to build number sense during your daily routine.
