PREP NEWS

In Prep, we have been learning all about the sounds of the alphabet. This week, the children explored the letter ‘Cc’ and the sound it makes. As you can see in the photos, students loved bringing their phonics learning to life by creating their Caterpillar Craft. 

Trixie Ten

This term we have focussed on the numbers 1 – 10. We read the book ‘Trixie Ten’ and created ten characters using our fingerprints. 

​Ride2School Day

We had a wonderful Ride2School Day! Every child who rode their scooter or bike to school had the opportunity to take a turn on the smoothie bikes and enjoyed a delicious smoothie they helped create. Students engaged in a discussion about bike safety, sharing ideas on how to stay safe while riding their bikes. They then completed an activity to identify key safety features on a bike, reinforcing the importance of staying safe while being active.
