IMPORTANT NOTICE: BOOK WEEK change of Date!!
Book Week is always an exciting and much-anticipated event on our school calendar. Each year, we love seeing the creativity and excitement of our students and greatly appreciate the time and effort families put into preparing costumes for this special day.
Our Book Week Parade was originally scheduled for Thursday 27 August.
Unfortunately, we have realised that this clashes with Bike Ed for students in Years 3–6. Clearly, riding bikes in Book Week costumes is not going to work!
We considered moving the parade earlier in the week, but we know many families will already be planning around Thursday. Some costumes may still be getting their finishing touches, and some special items may still be making their way through the post. For this reason, we have decided to postpone our Book Week Parade until Monday 31
August.

Parents, carers and families are warmly invited to come along and watch the parade. We would love to have you join us as we celebrate Book Week together.
We apologise for the calendar clash and any inconvenience caused by the change. Thank you for your understanding and for the wonderful effort you put into making Book Week such a fun celebration for our students and school community.
We look forward to seeing everyone dressed up on Monday 31 August!
Trafalgar Cricket Club
1st Trafalgar Scout Group
1st Trafalgar Scout Group are holding a fundraiser next Saturday 29th August between 11am-2pm at the Scout Hall to raise funds for the hall and their upcoming Cuboree camp.
Many of the Cubs and Scouts are also students at Trafalgar Primary School, so the Scout Group has extended a warm invitation to our school community to come along and support their fundraiser.
A big thank you to Trafalgar Primary student Lilyan for creating the fantastic flyer!
There will be plenty happening on the day, including a BBQ, games and activities, a raffle draw, and the main event… ✂️
