A message from Stage 2
Thank you for your support and for coordinating PAX Leader behaviour with us. We have been learning about confidence, happiness, resilience, and respect this term. We are proud to say that Stage 2 has truly demonstrated these qualities throughout the term. Well done! Wishing you all a safe and relaxing break.
In our English unit, we have analysed the ways in which authors develop character traits and personalities. Through our journal writing, we have demonstrated thoughtful reflection and a strong understanding of literary concepts. It has been wonderful to see how our students have developed their writing capabilities.
In mathematics, we have been learning to identify angles and read analog time. We are looking forward to working with whole numbers and decimals.
A student in Stage 2 shared that their favourite lessons were spelling and ancient history. This feedback shows we are making a positive impact and supporting our students to be their best and stay engaged in their learning. We encourage you to chat with your child about their learning. This week, we are focusing on the /er/ phoneme in spelling, how to write imaginative texts using the Seven Steps to Writing Success, constructing complex sentences, and working with number and place value in mathematics.
