Dear Families of SMOTA, 

Welcome back to Term 4! I hope that all of our families had an enjoyable break over the holiday period. We have a very busy term ahead with a number of community events planned as well as farewelling our Year 6 students. Staffing Update

I would like to inform you that Natalia Mayes will be finishing her time at St Mary of the Angels on Friday, 17th October 2025 (Week 1, Term 4).

Natalia has accepted a full-time position at O’Connor Catholic College in Armidale, where she will be working in both learning support and teaching roles.

We thank Natalia for the care, enthusiasm, and professionalism she has brought to our school community, and for the many contributions she has made to her students and colleagues. We wish her every success as she begins this exciting new chapter in her career.

I am pleased to share that Eleisha Outridge will continue in her role as Stage 1 Educator.

Sports Uniform

A friendly reminder that full sports uniform is to be worn on Wednesday and Friday from Term 4 onwards. The full sports uniform includes:

• School sports polo shirt (green/white) 

• Navy blue shorts, skorts, or long tracksuit sport pants

• Navy blue socks must be clearly visible above the shoe line (no ankle socks)

• Joggers of any colour may be worn
