Thank you so much to our families for your very generous response to our St Vincent de Paul Christmas Hamper Appeal. Our local St Vincent de Paul representatives have collected all the food items. Once again, we filled the boot and back seat of the car with all the bags of Christmas treats!

Together with donations from Annunciation and St Augustine's Schools, about 40 hampers will be put together next week, ready for delivery to local families who will be very grateful for some Christmas treats.

This year we have supported St Vincent de Paul Society, Caritas Australia, Catholic Mission and the Mary MacKillop Foundation to assist them with  the wonderful work they do in caring for those in need.

Advent Week 3

The third week of Advent focuses on Joy, as we anticipate the happiness as Christmas nears. A pink candle is lit to symbolize this growing happiness. It is often called the Shepherd's Candle, referencing the shepherds' joy at Jesus' birth, reminding believers to be Christ's joyful presence in the world.  

Dear Jesus, 

help us focus on you during this busy season. May we stay aware of the joy 

you bring into our lives. 

We want to find you in the everyday moments and come with hearts of gratitude to your manger on Christmas.
