Thank you and farewell to Liz Maguire, Trustee of Kildare Ministries 

With deep appreciation, we farewell Liz Maguire as a Trustee of Kildare Ministries after three years of dedicated service. 

Liz brought to her role a wealth of experience, a heart grounded in faith, and a strong commitment to justice and community. Her deep connection to the Presentation tradition—through her time as a student and teacher at Star of the Sea College, and as a Board member at both Star and Presentation College Windsor—shaped her profound understanding of Catholic education and its potential to transform lives. 

Liz was drawn to Kildare Ministries as a new and hope-filled expression of Church. She was inspired by the coming together of ten schools and three community works across diverse communities, and by the justice-focused spirit of the Brigidine and Presentation Sisters so clearly evident in their legacy. 

As Chair of the Mission and Ministry Committee, Liz played a key role in guiding the unfolding narrative of Kildare Ministries and supporting the work of the Mission Leader. Under her leadership, the Committee ensured that formation programs were grounded in scripture, shaped by the Catholic tradition, and designed to foster faith-filled leadership, good governance, and a deep commitment to mission. 

Liz particularly valued visiting the ministries—both schools and community works—where she saw firsthand the transformative power of the mission brought to life. Each visit reaffirmed her belief in the strength, spirit, and purpose of Kildare Ministries. 

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Liz for her wisdom, generosity, and faithful presence. Her contribution has been a true blessing, and we wish her every grace as she continues her journey of service and leadership.
