Foundation 2026 Enrolments

Foundation enrolments for 2026 are now open. If you have a child commencing next year, please collect an enrolment form from the office or visit our website, we’d really appreciate you returning your enrolment paperwork as soon as possible. Early enrolments help us begin planning for the year.

Student Attendance 

Nationally, student attendance has declined. Research shows us that patterns formed in the Early Years of school are more likely to have a continuing pattern of non-attendance for these students over their school life.

Absence can be caused by varied and unrelated reasons. We know that relationships with teachers, peers, safety & engagement at school can play a significant role with attendance.

Families and local communities also play a significant role in student attendance.

At WPS we need to –

Have high expectations in relation to attendance

Continue to develop community relationships with all our stakeholders

Build on strong communication with parents regarding their child’s attendance

Continue to deliver quality programs and develop good relationships with all students

Provide targeted intervention for students and families requiring additional support

WPS Breakfast Activities Club

A reminder that staff supervision in the morning does not begin until 8:45am. Students arriving before 8:45am without parent supervision are required to be booked into the WPS Breakfast Activities Club, which runs from 7:30am - 8:45am everyday. Students must be pre-booked to attend. The cost is $10.75 per session per child and includes breakfast and activities.

After School Care

Our After School provider is Community OSH, which runs from 3:30pm - 6:00pm.

School Uniform

Please ensure that your child is dressed in correct school uniform before they leave the house in the morning.

School uniform order forms need to be completed with payment and returned to the office either by your child or via e-mail at windsor.ps@education.vic.gov.au

Lunch Orders

Lunch orders are available on Mondays and Fridays.

Please remember all orders must be placed online before 9am at beaverstail.com.au.
