Welcome Back to Term 3! 

Dear Valkstone families, 

It is my pleasure to welcome you and your amazing children back to school for Term 3! I trust that the break has been a great opportunity to rest and reset for what promises to be a fast-paced and exciting 9-week term ahead. 

There's so much to look forward to this term, and we can't wait to share these incredible experiences with your children! Get ready for the wonder and discovery of Science Week, the literary magic of Book Week, celebrating our Prep students reaching their amazing 100 Days milestone, the adventure-filled Grade 6 Camp, the energy and excitement of Junior School Cross Country (P-3), thrilling Athletics Days, and a fantastic array of Grade level incursions that will bring learning to life. From engaging classroom activities to these special events that bring our community together, Term 3 is shaping up to be absolutely fantastic! Please look out for more information on all these exciting opportunities. 

Events Coming Up!  

At Valkstone, we are committed to continuing to build parent and student engagement through a number of wonderful opportunities that bring our community together. A huge thank you goes out to our incredible Events Committee for their amazing work in organizing some fantastic community events: 

Trivia Night - Saturday 30th August Join us at Bentleigh Bowling Club for what's sure to be a night of laughter, friendly competition, and fantastic community spirit! Keep an eye out for the advertising - you won't want to miss this one. 

Toastie Fundraising Event - September 18th Get ready for some delicious toasties at just $4 each while supporting our school community! Ordering will be the same easy process as we use for our current Sushi orders. More details to follow soon! 

Working Bee - Date TBC Join us for a community working bee where we can come together to enhance our school environment while building connections with fellow families. A special thank you to our Grade 4 families who will be helping out with this important community event! 

These are just a few of the exciting events we have planned! We're thrilled to have such a dedicated group of volunteers working tirelessly to create memorable experiences for our school family.
