Education Week & Walk Safely to School Day

Education Week – 18–22 May

During Week 5 week we proudly celebrated Education Week, a wonderful opportunity to recognise and showcase the amazing learning, creativity and community spirit within our school.

Throughout the week, students participated in a range of engaging learning activities both inside and outside the classroom. It was fantastic to see students embracing new challenges, working collaboratively and demonstrating our school values in all aspects of school life.

Education Week also gave us the chance to celebrate the dedication of our staff, the support of our families and the achievements of our students. We are incredibly proud of the positive learning environment we continue to build together each day.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Education Week such a success. We look forward to continuing to inspire curiosity, creativity and a love of learning throughout the year.

Walk to School Day Success

Walk to School Report - Olivia S

During Education Week our school did a walk to school day.

Walk to school program is to encourage, educate & raise awareness about physical, environment & community benefits of walking to school.

Thanks to Kerry, Kathryn & Kara for organising breakfast in the morning so students would have something warm to eat.

We successfully met the 3 goals for this event: To foster healthier, active lifestyles for children, reduce traffic congestion near schools & promote pedestrian safety.

Thank you for the thoughts of those who braved the cold and participated.

What a fantastic morning we had for Walk to School Day on Friday 22nd May! Despite the chilly start, it was wonderful to see so many students, parents and staff coming together to enjoy a healthy and active start to the day.

The morning was filled with smiles, conversation and plenty of community spirit as families walked together to school. Events like this are a wonderful reminder of the importance of staying active, building healthy habits and strengthening the connections within our school community.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the morning such a success. We loved seeing so many students enthusiastically taking part and arriving at school ready for a great day of learning.

We look forward to continuing to encourage safe, active and healthy travel to school throughout the year!
