2026 Student of the Week

National Simultaneous Storytime

Last week, our Prep to Year 6 students joined thousands of children across Australia to participate in National Simultaneous Storytime. This special event celebrates the joy of reading and highlights the importance of literacy and storytelling.

Students gathered together to enjoy this year’s featured story at the same time as schools, libraries and communities around the country. It was wonderful to see the excitement and engagement from all students as they listened, shared ideas and celebrated books together.

National Simultaneous Storytime is always a fantastic opportunity to encourage a love of reading and remind students of the power of stories to connect, inspire and entertain. We are very proud of the enthusiasm shown by all students throughout the event.
