Basketball season has resumed with an exciting round of fixtures for our College teams.

College U12B Sooty Owls had an outstanding 26-point win against Barber Babes Black. The girls played exceptionally well together. 

Our Under 16B Snowy Owls faced the Tigers in a hard-fought contest, ultimately going down 27–45. While this was the team's first loss of the season, the girls showed resilience and determination throughout the game and will no doubt use the experience as motivation as preparation for the finals. A standout performance came from Olivia Baulch, who led the team with 11 points, combining strong defensive steals with fast-break opportunities that resulted in valuable scores.

Unfortunately, College Div 2 had to forfeit with a number of players still away during the holiday period. The team is looking forward to returning to the court next week, eager to continue their season with enthusiasm and determination.

Our College Div 3 girls enjoyed a well-deserved 11-point victory over Minders Blue, returning from the break with confidence, skill, and determination. Ava Ryan led the scoring with 9 points, while Isla McClure contributed an impressive 6 points.

This week was a bit tricky coming back after holidays and people still being away, a special thank you to the College families for getting their kids to the games and being a helper in some way, shape, or form.
