The Great Book Swap!
This term St Bede's will be taking part in the Great Book Swap to support the Indigenous Literacy Foundation and to celebrate National Family Reading Week!
The Great Book Swap will happen over 13th & 14th May - a phenomenal cause to support & should raise the profile of reading for pleasure even more within our community.

Each child brings in a pre-loved book to the stall. After donating a gold coin or note, children have their choice of a pre-loved book to swap. All classes will have a timetabled slot to attend and browse the Book Swap collection. In order to prepare, please bring in your pre-loved books on Monday 12th with donations brought in on the Tuesday for Prep-2 and Wednesday 3-6.
If there are any parents who would like to volunteer their time and effort to supervising the book swap stall on Tuesday 13th or Wednesday 14th May, please let Mrs Vickers know: hvickers@sbedesbn.catholic.edu.au. TIA.
We have a fundraising page if you would like to donate additional funds. We have a school target of $500 which would be so awesome to beat! Thanks in advance for your support as a community. We can't wait to see what second hand reads we get!
