Reading aloud to children, in particular by diverse and engaging storytellers, greatly improves language and literacy skills, especially in the early years of a child’s development.

LIBRARY MONITORS

Congratulations to Hazel, Kalaysia, Harper, Phinehas, Asher and Batul from 5/6BG and Leeroy and Oliver from K-6 Koalas who were chosen as library monitors after a job application process. They will be helping students with locating, borrowing and returning books on the Oliver Library catalogue and making sure that the library books are kept in order.
