From the Deputy Principal

Looking forward to Semester Two

When we are in the middle of finishing a very busy and rewarding term we are also planning for next term and looking forward to seeing all our students returning, following their break.

In the Secondary School, Semester Two brings some changes to staffing and to our timetable as some teachers depart on and return from leave; and we support students with future pathways.  Please see below for some changes to teachers for Semester Two:

Ms Bea Pritchard takes Parental Leave in Semester Two and we welcome back Mr Julian Gugenheim from his Long Service Leave who will take Ms Pritchard's classes. In addition to these changes, there are also some minor changes to the Health and Physical Education team in Semester Two.

As communicated to Year Ten Families there will be some student class list changes and some teacher changes to support students who are pursuing VET/General: TAFE or Workplace pathway and this may impact students' Science, Humanities and Health teachers.

The Semester Two timetable will be available on SEQTA in the first week of the school holidays and for some year groups this will include changes to electives for Semester Two.  Families are encouraged to view their student's timetable to allow them to prepare for the Semester ahead.

If you have any questions regarding the Semester Two timetable, please contact Mr Ian Robson (ian.robson@gsg.wa.edu.au).
