Ms Brea Terris

Dear Families,

Welcome back to Term 3! I hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday break and is feeling refreshed for another exciting term at Swan Hill North Primary School.

There has been plenty happening around the school over the holidays as our building project continues to progress.

Our temporary school office has now been established in the BER building while we await the completion of our new facilities.

We are looking forward to the new classroom building near the oval being handed over in the coming weeks.

The new administration building is expected to be completed a little later in the year.

The next stage of the project will involve the demolition of the old office area and the multipurpose building. This is expected to occur sooner rather than later, allowing the project to continue moving forward. As these works progress, there may be some temporary changes to the way we operate around the school.

Temporary toilets have been placed near the portable. These have been installed in preparation for the multipurpose building. They will ensure that students continue to have access to toilet facilities while this stage of the building project is underway.

With the ongoing building works, there may be some changes to our usual routines over the coming weeks.

Due to the timeline for the demolition works, we are currently reviewing the best way to hold our school assemblies. We will keep families updated as plans are confirmed.

It is an exciting time for our school community, and we appreciate everyone's patience, flexibility and support as we continue this journey towards our wonderful new learning spaces.

2027 Enrolments

Enrolments for 2027 are now open!

We have been delighted with the strong interest in Swan Hill North Primary School, with many families already enrolling for 2027. This is a very positive reflection of our wonderful school community and the learning opportunities we provide for our students.

If you know of any families who are considering enrolling their child at Swan Hill North Primary School, please encourage them to contact the school office to arrange a tour. We would love the opportunity to show them around and share everything our school has to offer.

Paver Project

Notes have been sent home with all students about our Paver Project.

As part of the exciting new building works at our school, we are inviting members of our school & community, past and present, to take part in a special opportunity to leave a legacy by purchasing commemorative pavers.

These pavers will be laid within the outdoor areas and pathways, creating a meaningful space that reflects the support, memories, and spirit of our school community.

Families, students, staff, and the local community are all encouraged to participate and become a permanent part of this chapter in our school’s history. More forms are available from the office.

Student, Parent and Teacher chats

A big thank you to all of our families who attended our Parent, Student and Teacher Chats on the first day of Term 3.

It was a wonderful way to begin the term, with so many families taking the opportunity to meet with teachers and discuss their child's learning and goals for the semester ahead.

Strong partnerships between home and school play an important role in supporting student success

Curriculum Day

Please note our next Curriculum Day will be on 24th August. There will be no students onsite this day. Staff will be involved in professional learning.

Duty of Care

Families are reminded that teachers are on duty before school from 8.30am-8.50am and after school from 3.20pm until 3.30pm. Children should not be unattended in the school grounds before or after these times. Thank you for your support and co-operation with this.

Kind Regards

Brea
