As we move through the term, we continue to emphasise the importance of students taking ownership of their learning and behaviour. Thank you to all students who show Respect, Confidence and Kindness each day. Taking responsibility for actions, choices and effort is central to growing as a learner and as a member of our school community.
When students uphold our values, they help create calm, productive learning environments that enhance wellbeing, safety and educational opportunities for all. Thank you for reinforcing these expectations at home; your partnership supports the development of capable, respectful and kind young people.
A reminder to all families that we introduced a new process in Term 3 to strengthen duty of care and ensure students remain supervised when leaving the school grounds on Lunch Passes. Students in Years 7–11 who have parent permission to purchase lunch down the street will now be escorted by a supervising staff member.
Students meet at the office, provide a signed parent note, sign out, and at 1pm walk to and from the shops as a group with a staff member (SEL or Leadership). This change reduces risk, supports safety, and ensures consistent supervision while students are off site.
Thank you to our Year 10 and 11 students and families for your engagement in the Senior School Subject Selection process for 2027. Your participation in the Information Night, Subject Selection Expo, and Careers Consultations has made a real difference. Your involvement, questions, and conversations at home are invaluable as students make decisions that shape their final years of schooling.
