Prayer

This weekend, Saturday August 8th, as we celebrate the Feast of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop, we give thanks for Australia's first saint and her remarkable witness of faith, courage and compassion. 

Mary lived by the words, "Never see a need without doing something about it." She dedicated her life to serving others, especially through education, trusting always in God's providence, even in the most difficult times. 

May her example inspire each of us to see Christ in those around us, to respond with kindness and generosity, and to walk faithfully in the footsteps of Jesus each day. 

St Mary of the Cross MacKillop, 

pray for our students, our families, our staff and our parish community. 

May we, like you, live with courage, hope and love, always seeking to make a difference in the lives of others.
