Principal's Update

Dear Families,

As we come to the end of Term 3, I reflect with great pride on all we have achieved this term.

So much wonderful learning has happened across our school. Our children have continued to grow as learners and as young people - taking on challenges, developing new skills and learning how to learn and play together. 

Our ongoing building works bring both excitement and challenges, yet what has struck me most is how our children and staff have simply kept going. Day after day, they have navigated the changes and adapted to what is going on around them. This is a key reminder that a school is not just the buildings, but its people. 

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our staff. Your commitment to our children, your care for one another, and your willingness to adapt are greatly appreciated. So much happens behind the scenes to ensure each day is a rich learning experience for our children. 

Thank you also to our families. We appreciate your continued support, encouragement, and partnership, particularly as we build something new and exciting for our children. 

To our children, I want to say a special thank you. Thank you for your enthusiasm, the questions you ask, the wonder of joy and life that you share with us, the way you make mistakes and learn from them and the way you make us laugh and smile. You make each day worthwhile. 

As we head into the break, I hope everyone has the opportunity to rest and recharge.

Stay safe and well, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for an exciting Term 4.

At the end of this school term, we give thanks to God: 

For all the teaching and learning that have taken place in our school,

both in and out of the classroom.

For the talents and gifts that have been shared,

and the challenges that have been faced. 

For the burdens that have been lifted,

and the hurts that have been healed. 

For the respect and care given. 

We give thanks for the friendships that have just begun,

and for those that have grown.

For the faith lived in our daily struggles. 

For the hope that has lifted our hearts on the dark days. 

And for the love that has kept us going.
