St Luke’s Athletics

As previously communicated via last week's PNTK, St Luke’s will be holding various Athletics events for all students next term.

Year 7 - Year 12 Athletics Carnival

On Wednesday, 7th May 2025, we will be holding our High School Athletics Carnival (Year 7 - Year 12). This event differs from our previous Athletics Trials, which were only open to participants in past years. Our first Athletics Carnival will be open to all Year 7 to Year 12 students, giving everyone the opportunity to attend and participate. There will be a mix of competitive and participation events for students. A permission form has been shared with parents via Compass. Please ensure this is completed by 11/4/25 when it closes, as unfortunately, no late permission forms will be accepted.

Students have also been shared further information regarding participation only events and competitive events. If students are wishing to trial for Diocesan Athletics, students are to complete the Google Form which has been shared with them via Compass by 10/4/25.

Year 3 - Year 6 Athletics Carnival

On Friday, 23rd May 2025, we will be holding an Athletics Carnival for all Year 3 - Year 6 students. Students from Year 1/Year 2 who are turning 8 years or older this year will also be invited if they wish to participate in competitive events to trial for the Blacktown Zone Athletics. There will be a combination of competitive events and participation events all earning points for each student's house.

Kindergarten - Year 2 Athletics Carnival

On Friday, 30th May 2025, we will be holding an Athletics Carnival for all Kindergarten - Year 2 students. This will be a fun event where students will explore a range of athletic events and games, giving students a chance to also earn points for their houses.

More information will be shared as it gets closer to each event.

We are extremely excited to host these events this year and believe they will be great community events where all students can participate and continue to build community spirit.

Cross Country

A reminder that results have been posted on the sports noticeboard, which is located at the end of the Breezeway in the Marketplace. Permission forms for students who have qualified for the Diocesan event will be shared with parents next week via Compass.
