đż SAKG Garden & Kitchen Update đż
Our year 6 students prepare for their final SAKG lesson, I hope that over the past two years they have gained valuable knowledge and skills that will carry them into the future.
Through the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program, students have the opportunity to learn about healthy eating, growing their own vegetables, kitchen safety, cooking, gardening and working together as a team.
So, Its PARTY TIME, for their last lesson, the students will be making -Vegetable Sausage Rolls, Sushi, Lemon Curd Biscuits, Pizza of the Imagination, & Scones with Jam & Cream
â˘Â đĽ Produce Donations Welcome: If you have excess produce from your garden, we would love to use it in our kitchen programs. We are especially hoping for lemon donations so students can make lemon curd and cordial.
