OLA is so proud of Cleo & Zoe. Their Grade 5/6 peers watched and cheered them on as they represented Victoria at the School Sport Australia National Championships in Newcastle! The VIC girls are off to a fantastic start, winning their first four matches, with victories over ACT, South Australia and Western Australia.

Our students enjoyed a special Dance Curriculum experience with Omar, who visited OLA and worked with every year level to learn and develop a dance routine. Each class had the opportunity to build their skills, explore movement and express themselves through dance. The experience culminated in a wonderful presentation where students and teachers showcased their dances. It was fantastic to see their enthusiasm, confidence and creativity on display!

Our Grade 4 students had a great time participating in the Bike Education Program. Through the Bike Ed Program, students have been developing important practical skills, including road safety awareness, decision making and an understanding of their responsibilities as cyclists.
The Big Bike Ride provided an authentic opportunity for students to apply their learning in a real world setting, building confidence and developing the knowledge and skills needed to navigate our local roads safely and responsibly.
A big thank you to our staff and parent volunteers who supported the ride and helped make this valuable learning experience possible!

We celebrate achievements at OLA every day in the classroom. Outstanding achievement is celebrated at every assembly in the front of the school. Congratulations to all the students who received an award last week.

Last week, we celebrated Richard's 50th Birthday! The children all gathered outside to sing Happy Birthday, making the celebration even more special!
