Week 1 Swimming
The first week of swimming was very successful with students engaging well in their lessons.

On Wednesday, Mur Murra learnt how to make scones and pretended they were kings and queens having a Devonshire tea when eating them. They also enjoyed mud painting, chalk drawing and mowing the grass.
Morning Reading - A Fantastic First Week
What a wonderful start we have had to our new Morning Reading routine!
During our first week, 31 students joined us in the Gathering Space to read with an adult. With 125 students across our school, that means almost 25% of our students participated in Morning Reading during its very first week — a fantastic achievement!
It has been wonderful to see students arriving in the morning, choosing a book and taking the opportunity to practise their reading in such a positive and relaxed environment. Every extra opportunity to read helps students build confidence in their reading skills and we are excited to see this routine continue to grow.
A big thank you to the adults who have supported our students throughout the week. Parents and carers are also very welcome to join us in the Gathering Space from 8.30am–8.50am and listen to students read. The more adults we have available, the more reading opportunities we can provide!
We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm shown in our first week and look forward to another successful week of Morning Reading. Let’s see if we can have even more students joining us next week!
