Student Dress Code Policy Update

Our Student Dress Code Policy has been reviewed and updated following extensive consultation with our School Council, students, parents and the wider school community. We would like to thank everyone who provided valuable feedback throughout this process.

The updated policy is attached below and has also been shared via Compass. We ask all families to please read the policy carefully before the beginning of Term 3 to ensure all students are wearing the correct school uniform.

Some key reminders include:

  • Leggings and bike shorts are to be worn under the school dress or skirt only and are not to be worn as standalone uniform items.
  • All shorts, pants, skorts and other uniform bottoms must be navy in colour and in good condition, with no tears or rips.
  • Non-uniform jumpers and jackets may be worn to and from school during colder weather; however, students are expected to wear their school jumper or school jacket while at school.
  • Knee-length socks worn with the school uniform must beplain navy or plain white.

Staff will be revisiting the updated expectations with all students during the first week of Term 3 to support a consistent approach across the school.

If you require financial support to purchase uniform items, please let the office know as there are supports available for families (information also in the newsletter).

Thank you for your continued support in helping our students wear their uniform with pride and represent our school so positively.
