Foundation Incursion
St John Vianney's Catholic Primary School
Snack Art Foundation Superheroes!
Today, our Foundation students participated in an exciting ‘Snack Art’ Incursion run by Daley Nutrition. They engaged in a creative and interactive wellbeing session focused on healthy eating and positive lifestyle habits. 🍎🍊🍋🥝🫐
During the workshop, students helped a superhero regain her powers by learning how nutrition and wellbeing support a healthy body and mind. Through colourful activities and hands-on experiences, students explored:
- How food can affect our mood, energy, and overall wellbeing
- How healthy foods help build strong muscles, bones, skin, and teeth
- The importance of hydration, movement, sleep, and self-care
Students also had the opportunity to:
- Create their own edible work of art
- Design a superhero mask
- Take part in a fun taste test using all 5 senses
The session encouraged students to think positively about healthy habits while using creativity, teamwork, and imagination in a fun and engaging environment. 🧠💤🧘🏻♂️🤸🏻♀️🏊🏻♂️
