District Athletics

What a day at District Athletics! 

On behalf of Holy Trinity, a HUGE thank you to all the parents, carers and family members 

 who came along to support our students throughout the day. We truly experienced all four seasons in one event, but the energy, encouragement and sideline support never stopped!

One of the most impressive parts of the day was that not a single student pulled out because of the weather or conditions. That says so much about the resilience, commitment and positive attitude of our students and the incredible support they receive from home.

Taking out the overall carnival win was an amazing achievement and a fantastic reward for everyone’s efforts. But even more pleasing was seeing every student giving things a go, cheering each other on and representing Holy Trinity with positivity, determination and outstanding sportsmanship.

The HUGE turnout of families on the sidelines created such a special atmosphere and made the day even more memorable for our students. It was a massive day… and together, we all got through it!

A special shoutout also goes to Clare and  Sashini (sorry if this embarrasses you!) for helping out at long jump in the pouring rain. Between the weather, the sand, the parent feedback over the fence and everything else the day threw at us, they were absolute superstars and I couldn’t have done it without them. 

Another big thank you to our amazing staff for their calmness, flexibility and commitment throughout the day. Rosa, Steph, Steve and Kylie, who kept everything flowing up in the stands and helped make the day such a success.

We are so lucky to be part of a community that continually shows up for our students and supports school events so wholeheartedly.
