Sacrament of First Eucharist (Holy Communion)

The Eucharist is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation, important steps in the journey to becoming a full member of the Catholic Church (Baptism and Confirmation are the other two). During the Sacrament of the Eucharist, students will receive the Blessed Host for the first time. Fr Jerald will bless the bread and wine, reminding us of when Jesus shared the Last Supper with his disciples.

We congratulate all the children from Holy Trinity who will receive their First Eucharist at St Jude’s Church this weekend. We keep them and their families in our prayers as they celebrate this special milestone in their faith journey.

If families take a photo of their child, a family photo, or a group photo at Mass, we would greatly appreciate an electronic copy for our school newsletter and archives. Please send photos to my email address: (dharvie@htws.catholic.edu.au).

Project Compassion – Unite Against Poverty THANKS!

A sincere thank you to all of our students, families and staff who generously supported this year’s Caritas Australia Project Compassion Appeal during Lent.

Through your kindness and generosity, our school community raised over $580 to help support vulnerable communities around the world. These donations will assist families in need by providing access to essentials such as clean water, education, healthcare and food security.

By donating to Project Compassion, our students and families have shown how even small acts of kindness can make a big difference in the lives of others. Together, we have helped bring hope, compassion and opportunity to people most in need.

Thank you for living out the values of Lent and for helping to make a difference in our world.
