Please ensure you have processed all consents and payments on your Compass portal to guarantee your child's participation in all upcoming incursions and excursions. 

Please also ensure 2026 Permissions and Agreements have been processed to include permission for local excursion, photography permission, and ICT agreements.

Year 1 News

On Monday 11th May, the Year 1 students really enjoyed a special visit from Dr Tanya Hill, who shared her picture book When the Stars Come Out with us. The students were very excited to learn about different constellations, and we even had a go at drawing the Southern Cross and other star patterns together. There were lots of great questions and enthusiasm throughout the session.

We also loved hearing about how Dr Tanya’s fascination with the stars began when she was a child. Her interest in space inspired her career in astronomy, and today she shares her passion for space and science with others. It was a fun and engaging opportunity for our Year 1 students to explore, imagine, and discover more about the world above us.
