Look who's Back!

Wild Rivers Alliance swimming Carnival

Niangala students had a great time at the Small School's Swimming Carnival on Friday, when they joined Woolbrook and Yarrowitch for the Wild Rivers Alliance Swimming Carnival.

While our awesome older students were busy swimming races, our younger students were busy in the small pool. They started with some free time to splash about and adjust to the temperature of the water. This was followed by searching for sinkies. Mrs Grayling was kept very busy hiding the rings.

After the water games, Miss Kuhr and Mrs Eveleigh from Woolbrook Public School played games on the grass. Duck, Duck, Goose and What's the Time Mr Wolf kept everyone entertained.

The day finished off with most students having races in the big pool using a noodle or kickboard. The older students assisted the younger students in the water.

Congratulations to everyone for your wonderful participation and exceptional sportsmanship shown on the day.

Thank you to Yarrowitch school for hosting this event, Mrs Wellings did a great job of getting everyone organised.  These events don't happen without staff pitching in and our small school families being involved. We appreciate the support for your children.
