Hayley Northridge & Sports Captains
Athletics was postponed due to weather and is rescheduled for Friday, 27th June 2025. We hope the weather cooperates for this whole-school event, which has historically been a great success. If you are available to help on the day, we would really appreciate your support. Parents and carers require a Working With Children Check and need to email Hayley Northridge (hayley.northridge@education.vic.gov.au) to advise availability.
Division Cross Country
On Wednesday, 4th June, Whittlesea Primary had 8 students compete in the Division Cross Country at Kilmore Race Track. Although it was very cold, all students finished the race displaying great courage, strength and determination.
Congratulations to everyone who competed.
A special congratulations to Harvey Cummins who finished 6th in his age group and will be competing in the Regional Cross Country next Wednesday. Good Luck Harvey!
ISS Report - Whittlesea VS Mernda Park (Blue - Away)
This Friday our gold team had a bye so they stayed at school and played a volleyball and netball round robin.
Our blue teams travelled to Mernda Park PS. Although our boys football team didn’t get the win they played a brilliant team game. The girls’ netball team secured a win taking the game 9-7. Our mixed netball team didn’t get the win but fought hard and never gave up. The boys’ and girls’ soccer teams continue to show improvement and resilience each week. Neither team won, however, their sportsmanship always shines through.
Great work team blue!!
