Updates from the Leadership Team
Dear Parents, Care Givers, Students, Staff and Friends of St Francis' Primary School,
Our first newsletter for Term Three comes with a great deal of good news and success. Our school NAPLAN results across the board were pleasing with some excellent results in our Grade 3 Writing. Grade 3’s also had over 75% of students in the strong or above range for Numeracy. Our Grade 5’s had 80% in strong or exceeding for Spelling and over 70% in strong or above for Writing. As we continue to implement our Magnify program with fidelity, we expect our results will continue to grow in the coming years. Well done to all students and staff for their diligence and commitment to getting better every day.
We have had Learning Conversations, PSGs, Assembly, Footy Colours Day, Wellbeing Wednesdays, the Bishop’s Installation Mass, and Lightning Premiership to start the term. Each of these events highlights the wonderful work happening in our school and I thank everyone involved for their input. Please note the Student Free Days coming up in Week Four (Wednesday) and Week Five (Thursday) in which staff will be undertaking professional learning.
