NAIDOC Week 

We had a great time celebrating NAIDOC Week in the last week of Term 2.  Our students held a flag raising ceremony and assembly with guest speakers Alma Hunt and Priscilla Fox from Winanga-Li speaking about this year's theme "50 Years Deadly".  We then enjoyed a cupcake to mark the opening of our celebrations.  We thank Alma and Priscilla for their time and teaching our students what it means to be deadly.   

Mrs Nott announced the winners of the K-Yr 3 Colouring In Competition and Yr 4-6 NAIDOC Projects.

Our students in K/1B and 2/3O celebrated with activities on NAIDOC.   Our 4/5/6T students made their way to the Werris Creek Multi Purpose Service to celebrate NAIDOC with a flag raising ceremony, lunch and games that were enjoyed by our students and residents of the service. Thank you to Vanessa Saunders of Werris Creek MPS for this experience.
