Acrostic Name Poems

Our Foundation students have been learning about poetry by creating acrostic poems using the letters in their names. Students thought carefully about words, ideas and sentences that matched each letter, while practising their letter knowledge, vocabulary and writing skills. They then illustrated their poems with colourful drawings to bring their ideas to life. We were so proud of the creativity and enthusiasm shown as students shared their unique poems with their classmates. Take a look at some of their wonderful work below!
