PARENTS ASSOCIATION

Parents’ Association Update – Thank you for a wonderful semester!
From the PA Coordinators
In what seems like just a blink of the eye, we have arrived at the end of Term 2 – and what an amazing semester it has been, full of fun-filled events and activities. It is thus only fitting that we thank and acknowledge the many who have helped make the last 6 months possible.
- Foundation-Buddy Mass BBQ – Elle C, Collette H and the Year 6 team
- Shrove Tuesday Pancake Morning – Dushi C, Sabrina H, Jess W, Sarah P and the Foundation team
- Mother’s Day Breakfast – Mark C and his band of merry dads
- School Disco – Angeline K, Meagan K, Chloe F and their team of Rockstars.
Beyond these events, we also want to thank and acknowledge the amazing (and often unseen) efforts of the canteen team – Bec C, Erin T, Jess P, Kylie S and Kirsty T – who tirelessly prepare upwards of 150 orders every week, Kylie Z and Bona D who ensure that the second-hand uniform shop is stocked and available to families, as well as that of Kristy F and her pastoral care team who are always ready to lend practical support to those who may require it. We of course express our gratitude too to Marty, Matt and Georgie (our immediate past PA Coordinator) for their advice, availability and assistance.
To all parents and carers – though particularly the new families joining this year – we hope you have been able to engage with one of the events this semester, whether as a helper or participant. The PA’s goal or purpose behind each event is to build community as we believe this is a key ingredient towards a more cohesive, welcoming and supportive environment for our children. We hope you have found this to be the case.
Looking ahead, Term 3 is set to be another activity-filled one with the Art Show, Mid-Year Parent Function, and Athletics Carnival (TBC) lined up. As always, keep an eye out for further updates as well as opportunities to help. All are welcome!
If you are able to assist with any events, or would like to express interest in helping in any capacity, please contact our Parents’ Association Coordinators:

Your support, whether big or small, helps ensure these events continue to be enjoyable experiences for our students and families. Thank you in advance for your generosity and community spirit.
“At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child's success is the positive involvement of parents.”
