Become a volunteer surf lifesaver & join us this summer at Coogee.

Coogee SLSC is taking enrolments for our Lightning Bronze 2026 course.

The course runs from 2-11 January 2026 and is for 15 to 25-year-olds who do not have a Surf Rescue Certificate award & wish to patrol at Coogee Beach.

Pre-requisites: 400m ocean swim in under 9 minutes, be 15 years old by 14 January 2024, and be a financial member of the club. 

Our expectation of you after the course: patrol once a month (patrol shifts are for a half day in the weekend). 

Payment & registrations close 5pm, Sunday 14 December 2025.
