Year 1 Camp Experience
The Year 1 students participated in a range of fun acitivities today as part of their camp experience. The activities included a Billy Cart Incursion and Cupcake Baking. In the Billy Cart Incursion, the students worked collaboratively to create a vehicle out of various materials and strengthened their teamwork and problem solving skills by following a set of instructions. For afternoon tea, the students enjoyed a cooking experience where they made and decorated cupcakes with various delicious toppings. In the afternoon, the children ate a slice of margherita pizza to end the day. A big thank you to Miss Burke and Mrs Mulhall for organising this experience.
Year 3 News
On Monday the 27 of October, the Year 3's all went to IMAX to watch a movie about the Great Barrier Reef. First we got on the bus and headed into the city. I sat next to Matilda and chatted to her until we got there. Next we went into the theatre and got our 3D glasses, popcorn and a delicious choc top. The movie was about extreme weather and how it was bleaching some of the coral. After that, we had lunch outside and then went into the Melbourne Museum. I was in the best group with Mrs Richardson. We had a look around and even went into an old fashioned movie theatre. Finally, it was time to go back to school. I had a great time!

On Monday the 27 of October, the Year 3's all went to IMAX for an excursion. First, we got into our groups for the day. The people in my group were Charlotte, Mimi, Marissa, Zac, Charles and Tommy. We hopped on the bus to go there. After 20 minutes, we went inside to check it out. When we got in there, we got ready to watch a movie about the Great Barrier Reef. Before we started watching, we got some 3D glasses, a choc top and some popcorn. We headed inside to watch. We learnt so many things while watching the movie. The saddest part was when a turtle couldn't swim down to it's child. Then we went to see some other things. I saw skeletons of dinosaurs, bugs, diamonds and other cool stuff. Finally, we went on the bus to go home. I had a really good time!
