STEM Coding Challenge - CONGRATULATIONS!

This year for the first time all 5/6 students participated in the Coding Challenge. It was a fantastic experience. We congratulate the following  students who received the following certificates:

Grandparents/Grandfriends  Day - TOMORROW - 9:00am to 10:30am - Friday 1st of August

We are looking forward to our annual Grandparents/Grandfriends Day tomorrow and we have some wonderful activities planned.

 

Our day will commence at 9:00am with a Liturgy in Brigid Hall.  At 9:30am families will grouped together and will move to a classroom for some fun and games.  At 10:30am our Grandparents/Grandfriends will come back to Brigid Hall for Morning Tea.

Book Week & Book Fair

This year we kick off Book Week with our Book Fair in Week 4 - Monday 11th August to Thursday 14th August.  Our annual Book Fair is one of our biggest fundraising activities each year. We then follow on with Book Week and its celebrations in Week 5.  

 

We have some great activities planned during Book Week including our annual Book Week Parade.

 

Book Week Parade - Monday 18th of August - 9:00am - Come Dressed as your Favorite Book Character

 

Get your thinking hats on about your costume! The teachers have already planned their costumes!

Baker's Delight - Mordialloc - VIP DELIGHT!

A HUGE thank you to Ryan and the team at Baker's Delight Mordialloc for giving a free loaf of bread for every day of the month of August to all the families in 1/2R. Your magic cards will be go home today.  Please note if you lose your card, sadly they can't be replaced.

St Brigid's Trivia Night - NEXT SATURDAY - 9 AUGUST!

Our Trivia Night is now just over a week away.  We are really looking forward to a great night.  We ask that you buy your tickets asap.  There are still two tables left - it's not too late to come along and join the fun.  Don't forget to bring some cash/coins for our Raffle and coin toss.  This is our major fundraising event for the year as its always lots of fun.
