Welcome to the Week 2 newsletter, the second fun-filled week of Term 3. We had the Whole School Athletics carnival on Thursday! On Saturday, the Year 6 Candidates celebrated their Confirmation at St Brigid's Parish Church. We are all looking forward to a great Term 3.

Doing the relay.

Yes, I got a 4th ribbon.

Yes, I enjoyed the run.

What was your favourite activity?
My favourite activity was the running.
Did you get a ribbon?
Yes, 2nd, 4th and 3rd.
Did you have fun?
Yes, the long jump was what I had most fun doing.

I liked the long jump and the 100m sprints, because I really enjoyed them and they were fun.
Did you get a ribbon?
Yes, I came 1st in long jump, and 1st in the sprints.

Yes, so much fun because I got to hang out with friends.

What was your favourite activity?
Probably 100m sprint, I liked it because I really like running.
Did you get a ribbon?
Yes, I got three from 100m sprint, long jump and the whistle rocket launcher.

I did have fun, because I liked the running and the 400m.

I got two 2nd places and a 3rd place.

I had an extreme amount of fun because I liked the races and hurdles.

Hurdles and 800m.
Did you get a ribbon?
I got three 2nd places, one 3rd and one 4th place.
Did you have fun?
I had a lot of fun because I like sports.

What was your favourite activity?
200 metres was what I enjoyed most.
Did you get a ribbon?
I was really happy. I won four 1st places and one 3rd place.
Did you have fun?
Yes, I had fun doing shot put.

What was your favourite activity?
My favourite was 100m sprint and 200m sprint, because I could go really fast.
Did you get a ribbon?
Yes I got three ribbons and they were 1 second place and 2 third places.

Yes, I had a lot of fun because I got to run around a lot and at the end I was exhausted.

At Assembly Monday afternoon Red House were announced as the winners of Thursday's sports carnival. Gold House came in second place with Blue House in third place, not far behind. The Spirit Award went to Blue House. Well done everyone - we all had such a great day.

I was very excited because I wanted to be confirmed into the Catholic Church and get the money and presents.

1/2 Excursion
The Year 1/2 students went to the Melbourne Museum:
What did you do on your excursion?
Teddy - We saw the dinosaurs, the bugs, the history of Melbourne and Grandma's toy box.
Did you see anything exciting on your excursion:
Sadie - We saw the dinosaurs.
What did you like the most about the museum?:
Teddy - The bugs!
Who were your partners on the bus?
Sadie - I sat with Catherine on the bus ride.
Did you already know stuff that you saw at the museum?
Declan - I knew about the dinosaurs.
What did you learn at the museum?:
Annabelle - At the museum, I learnt how they used to do work in the olden days.
What was your favourite thing at the museum?
Declan - I liked the dinosaurs at the museum and the olden days film.
District AFL Finals
A HUGE congratulations to our 5/6 Interschool Sport Girls AFL team. The girls finished the winter interschool sports 2nd on the ladder. This gained them entry into the District Finals which were held on Monday. Our girls played one player down for all four games, meaning no rest! They tried their best, had fun together and came home very muddy! Despite the odds being against them, all agreed that it was a great experience, and we are VERY proud of them.

I played with my rabbits and they were very cute.
