Grade 3-6 Athletics Carnival

Last Thursday, the Grades 3-6 students competed at the CGPS Athletics Carnival. All students were put in groups and participated in all events, including sprints, high, long and triple jump, discus and shotput. We were blown away by the enthusiasm shown by all and willingness to give familiar (and not so familiar!) activities a try.

A big special thanks to Ai, Richard, Will, Taj, Jen, Shan, Celine, Andrea, Deanne for volunteering their time to allow the day to be the success that it was!

Students competed for house points; congratulations to Worthington for winning house athletics this year!

Well done also to our age group winners who accrued the most total points across all events:

10 and under boys: Michael C, Jarvan T and Hen Shen G (all equal on points!)

10 and under girls: Zadie K

11 boys: Max M

11 girls: Xinzi C

12 boys: Tate W

12 Girls: Anna C

Students who have qualified for the district athletics team will be contacted by Curtis in the coming days.
