School Captains' Report

For the past 2 weeks we have had a lot of fun and exciting activities, these include the athletics day, the preps 100th day of school celebration and Science week, with new and fun activities.

Athletics Carnival

On the 7th August, we had our Athletic Carnival. A chance to practice and celebrate your running, jumping, throwing skills. It was also the Grade 3's first time going, Kenji from 3C said “The highlight for me was the 200 metre sprint, I was 3rd”. We had activities like; Long jump, Hurdles, the 100 meter sprint, and the 800 meter run for the people who made it to top 5 in cross country. The winning house this year was Worthington, with Sargent in a close 2nd place. Well done to everyone who took place in our Athletics Carnival of 2025!

100 days of school

Last Friday, it was the foundation students 100th day of school! They all had fun doing fun activities and dressed up as 100 year olds. Their activities included a party, and pizza. Hannah from Prep B liked throwing balloons around, also from Prep B, Dhwani liked making hats. They all had fun celebrating their milestone and are now continuing their hard work.

Science week

This week is Science week, a celebration of science and technology, Lauren has organised fun quizzes for every class and there is a super special STEM club happening on Thursday. The class with the highest number of points will be awarded a special prize!

Book week

Next Wednesday, the 20th of August, we are celebrating book week. This is a chance to dress up as your favourite book character. There will be a parade for the costumes, and certificates to be awarded! There were some amazing costumes last year and we hope there are better ones this year.
