Showcase of Learning
Year 1 Green delivered an engaging Chapel presentation, highlighting the importance of healthy eating habits and how making nutritious choices helps us care for our bodies.
The students spoke confidently about making positive food choices and explained how a balanced diet helps us stay healthy, energised and ready to learn. They encouraged the entire school community to reflect on our daily food choices and consider how these decisions support our overall wellbeing.

We are reminded that caring for our bodies is one way we honour God, who created us and loves us.
Athletics Carnival
A reminder that our Athletics Carnival is coming up next Monday 18 May. We are looking forward to a fun and exciting day of participation, sportsmanship, and house spirit. Students are encouraged to wear their house colour T-shirt, bring a hat, water bottle, sunscreen, and plenty of food for the day. We look forward to a fantastic carnival together.
There will be a food stall on the day. Cash and eftpos payments accepted.
Food stall items and prices:
- Packet of chips $1.50
- Iced mini cupcakes $1.50
- Mini sausage rolls $1.00
- Mini pizzas: cheese, meat, vegetarian, zaatar $3.00
- Cheese Toasties $3.00 (limited amount)
- Drinks (assorted) $2.50
- Water $2.00
HPCS Dance Competition
Come and audition for our Dance Competition Team on Thursday 21 May. This is open to students in Years 2 - 6 and is for students who are passionate about dance, it will be a super fun experience!
Those who make it in will represent HopePoint at dance competitions and compete against other schools.
All dance lessons and competitions will be held during school hours. There will be two competitions this year.

Kindergarten Excursion to Calmsley Hill City Farm
Our Kindergarten students had a wonderful day at the farm on Wednesday. From milking cows and enjoying tractor rides to petting and feeding the animals, the students loved every moment of their hands-on learning experience. It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces as they explored farm life and learned more about the animals and environment around them.
A big thank you to the Calmsley Hill City staff for such a fun and memorable day!
CSSA Girls Soccer Gala Day
What an incredible day of soccer at the Girls CSSA Gala Day on Monday! Both our junior and senior teams represented the school with determination, teamwork, and outstanding sportsmanship from start to finish.
Every player gave it their absolute best on the field, showing resilience, skill, and encouragement for one another throughout the day. We are so proud of the effort, positivity, and team spirit displayed by all involved. A huge thank you to the coaches, staff, and supporters who helped make the day such a success.
Well done girls!
