Smalltalk Playgroup

Playgroup in Vietnamese and Burmese

Smalltalk is a 10-week program for eligible families with children aged birth to 5 years old.

This playgroup program is delivered by trained professionals and assists families with tips and strategies to support your child's learning and development.

Smalltalk Playgroups give families the chance to:

  • learn about play and children's development
  • build parenting skills and confidence
  • meet other families
  • learn about and connect with local services
  • for your child to meet and play with other children

Brimbank City Council offers 16 supported Smalltalk playgroup sessions a week during school terms for eligible families. They are offered in English, Vietnamese and Burmese.

Albanvale Playgroup House (the building housing Albanvale Kindergarten next to the school) offers three sessions a week:

  • Tuesdays 10am - 12pm in Burmese
  • Tuesdays 1pm - 3pm in Vietnamese
