Bullying - No Way!

On Friday 29 August our school community gathered in the gym to recognise 'Bullying. No Way!' - a campaign Australia wide where schools and communities come together to stand against bullying.
Over the past few weeks students have been learning to say Bullying No Way! They know bullying is not OK and have strategies in place to help their friends feel happy and safe.
Every student wrote their pledge as to how they would stand up to disrespectful and bullying behaviours. These were written on a stop sign and placed on a "Stand Up" sign which will be displayed around the school
One of the ways we show excellence at Albanvale Primary School is by showing respect. This may be by giving others personal space, speaking kindly to others, allowing others to learn, listening carefully when others are speaking and communicating positively with others.
